Live your Wonderlife

This Summer we have been working through “WonderLife” by Mike Foster and the fine folks at SecondChance.org. Wonderlife is journey of discovery and recovery. It is 4 sessions deep dive into who God has created and crafted you to be.

While I would love to say there was an “aha” moment of this is it. The journey through Wonderlife has been more about coming face to face with the fears of “why have you not being doing this?’

The truth is I know who God has called me to be. The further truth is it has often been easier, more convenient, less vulnerable to just hide the caves of life. While I think some people genuinely are unsure of God’s design, I feel like more people are like me — keenly aware and continuously afraid.

So join me. Step into the wonder of life with me. We cannot simply quit being afraid, but we can face the fear. We can put our art out there for the world. Not for them to judge, but to enjoy.

This morning as I swiped up to close the video, I made a decision, I would rather face the critics in this life for doing what God has called me to, then face Christ in the disobedience of not doing what he asks of me.

So make your art. Put your calling out there for the world. Be bold, be brave, be obedient.
